Our 2AR 1AFP solution is one of the most versatile solutions available in this product category.
Anti-reflective coatings are made by applying very thin layers of metal and mineral oxides on top of each other in a vacuum deposition process. By carefully designing these layers, the light reaching the surface isn’t reflected, but is instead transmitted through the material, which results in a dramatic improvement in clarity and light transmission. This almost completely eliminates surface reflections.
This solution’s AR coating provides you with the best reproduction of the original colors while having excellent anti-reflective properties. Lastly, the top layer of this surface treatment includes an anti-fingerprint coating with virtually no optical distortions.
These properties result in a solution with great abrasion- and wear resistance and make it easy to clean and remove any dirt or smudge from the surface.
With these properties, 2AR 1AFP is a great solution for many different applications.
2AR 1AFP has been used for many different kinds of applications – everything from automotive interiors to barcode scanners.
Are you completely sure what the difference is between anti-reflective and anti-glare surface treatments?
If you don’t, you can read about it here. In the article, we explain the differences, and what they mean for your application.
We would also love to speak with you about what would be most suitable for your project. You can always write to us or call us to draw on our expertise.
