Hard Mat™ is an add-on surface treatment that combines both scratch-resistance and anti-glare.
Hard Mat™’s properties make it great for passenger information systems and other displays that require regular cleaning with disinfectants. The surface treatment also makes it scratch resistant.
These properties also make it excellent for displays on industrial equipment, since these types of applications typically require scratch resistance and is regularly cleaned with chemical compounds.
This material can be cut and milled using high-speed routers and cutters suited for machining PMMA.
Hard Mat™ coatings can be laser cut, and cutting parameters must be adjusted to give the best performance for the selected substrate.
