The NIR performance allows for perfect signal quality and signal-to-noise ratio for camera systems designed for low-light environments. Therefore, performance between 850-950nm is prioritized with this solution.
This solution makes the filter hydrophobic and abrasion-resistant, and the acrylic base material is lightweight and more impact-resistant than glass.
These properties make for the perfect filter for protecting sensitive optics and lenses, where visible light and NIR performance are essential.
Partial VIS+NIR AR is a customizable solution that performs extremely well in different applications such as license plate detection systems and inline machine vision systems where the underlying sensors or lenses need both NIR performance and long-range functionality.
Because this surface treatment is applied to Cleartech™, it is also scratch resistant with a pencil hardness rating of 6H.
