Red AR is an anti-reflective coating specially designed for devices operating at or around 670nm.
This coating is applied to one of our red-colored filters, such as Solaris S706. This results in a red optical filter with over 99% transmission in the relevant range, eliminating virtually all signal degradations caused by surface reflections.
Especially devices such as barcode readers and similar machine vision applications can benefit from this specific surface treatment. As long as the device operates around 670nm, this filter maximizes the device’s performance and minimizes faults and misreadings.
