Our VIS+NIR anti-reflective coating matches applications where full visible light and high near-infrared performance are important, such as RGB, RCCB, RCCG camera systems, etc., that work alone or in combination with NIR, LiDAR, or TOF devices, providing range detection, contour scanning, or focus setting camera systems.
The top coat of this surface treatment is hydrophobic and abrasion-resistant, and the acrylic based on Cleartech™ is a lightweight filter. The fact that it is acrylic also makes it more impact-resistant than glass, even though it is considerably lighter.
This AR coating is the perfect filter for protecting sensitive optics and lenses.
Some use cases could be applications such as high-performance barcode scanners, dimensional measurement devices, and machine vision systems, where there might be different kinds of sensors and cameras behind the cover glass.
Anti-reflective coatings for display applications are optimized for the wavelengths visible to the human eye. However, most machine vision applications only benefit from specific wavelengths within the VIS range (red) or longer wavelengths.
We can provide a range of unique and very effective AR surface treatments for these applications. These optimized AR coatings are typically applied to our acrylic sheet material.
These coatings are designed to obtain maximum AR performance in the exact application-specific wavelength range. It reduces reflections to an absolute minimum and increases undisturbed transmission. This is highly relevant in certain camera, scanner, and sensor applications.
We are ready to help you with a unique optical filter solution.
