Our Journey so far

Year: 1968

Company Founded

Founded in 1968 under the official name Plastic Service Company A/S, our primary focus was on trade within semi-manufactured plastic articles.

Over the years, we found our rightful place in producing superior optical filter and cover glass solutions.

Year: 1986

Verner Jacobsen takes over

In 1986, the company is taken over by Mr. Verner Jacobsen, who had many years of experience in manufacturing and processing plastics, particularly acrylics.

He recognized the growing need for optical filters of superior optical quality from the emerging electronics industry and decided to focus all the company’s resources on this market.

Year: 1998

Verner Jacobsen Retires

Mr. Verner Jacobsens retires, and his son Mr. Kristian Jacobsen buys the company as part of a generational change.

Year: 2006

Kristian Jakobsen transitions to active board member

Mr. Kristian Jacobsen steps back as Managing Director but is still an active part of the board and owner of the family company.
