Evoca needed a dark, NIR transparent filter for a coffee machine’s ‘cup detector.’
The filter had to be dark to achieve a sleek black panel design, where the sensor is invisible from the outside.
Therefore, the challenge was to develop an optical filter that adhered to the company’s design requirements while the performance of the cup detector sensor wasn’t compromised.
We designed and manufactured a customized cover glass made from our Solaris™ S306 solution to meet these requirements.
Lastly, the solution was CNC-machined and delivered with our Easy-Pick™ to ensure an efficient mounting and assembly process.
