1550 AR applied on our Solaris™ acrylic solution provides a filter transmission up to 98% in the 1550nm range combined with only 0.5% reflectance (double-sided measurement).
The topcoat is hydrophobic and abrasion-resistant, and the acrylic base material makes the filter lightweight and much more impact-resistant than glass. These properties make 1550 AR perfect for filter and cover lens solutions in 1550nm LIDAR applications.
Furthermore, the hydrophobic topcoat repels water, ensuring minimum signal distortion (both emitter and detector).
1550 AR is for applications such as ‘eye-safe’ infrared laser rangefinders using 1550nm lasers and other portable or airborne LIDAR devices for robotics, archaeology, geology, military, or surveying purposes.
For LIDAR applications that apply 1064nm infrared light, our Solaris S306 (with or without NIR AR) is the perfect solution.
This specialized surface treatment means it’s perfect for any LiDAR sensor, whether in a car or an automated house appliance such as a robot vacuum.
We are ready to help you with a unique optical filter solution.
